Yikes... what's this!
I've been experimenting with a 20$CAN Ikea storage tent. (will hold 4 guitars)
I draped a towel over and in a plastic storage container full of water.
Unfortunately this passive evaporative system has only been able to raise the humidity level from 28% to 34% in my dry basement.
(This passive system might be useful in other locations.)
I plan to add an Inkbird controller and place a small computer fan over the water container.

The towel draped in the container of water, (similar to a wick) has helped raise the humidity level within the tent to 48%.
